My approach

How I work

I don't work from a single method. I draw on a few different approaches and choose what fits, session to session, moment to moment.

I draw on a few different approaches, and I decide what's right for you as we go, based on what your nervous system needs in the room. You don't need to know which one to ask for — that's my job, not yours.

The approaches I draw on

01

Psychotherapy

The foundation

Relational, talk-based work — the foundation everything else rests on. It builds safety, and works with attachment ruptures and the relational patterns that shape how you move through the world.

02

Somatic Experiencing

My main specialty

Body-oriented trauma work, developed by Dr Peter Levine. It pays attention to what the body holds — tension, held breath, a racing heart — because trauma lives there, not only in your thoughts. This is my strongest and most-used approach.

03

Biodynamic Craniosacral Release

A gentle, hands-on technique that works with the craniosacral system. Using a light touch, I tune into the subtle rhythms of this system and support your body's own self-correcting response. Many people notice a sense of calm, clarity and ease after a session. Where it's part of your work together, a typical series is 6–12 sessions.

04

Yoga Therapy

Drawn on when relevant, yoga therapy supports nervous system regulation, helping the body find its way back to a settled, resourced state.
